Dumbarton's Mad March started off with a 2-1 loss at home against league leaders Berwick Rangers.
Berwick opened the scoring after 20 minutes but Sons immediately pulled it back to 1-1. Four minutes into the second half Berwick retook the lead through Iain Diack. The defeat sees Sons now in 5th place.
This Wednesday, Sons travel down to Berwick for the "return leg" (7.45pm kick off). Personally, I don't hold out much hope of a result as midweek journeys to Shielfield at any time are not easy. Even worse when Berwick are flying high at the top of the league
Mad March continues on Saturday when Sons trouble to Arbroath, followed up by home and away ties against Stenhousemuir.
