Despite it being fairly early, I'm getting an uncomfortable feeling about this season.
After 5 games in Division 3, Sons have amassed a total of 4 points and are sitting second bottom of the division, ahead of only Elgin City who are so bad they have yet to win a single point.
This not good.
The home defeat by Arbroath on Sunday was Dumbarton's third consecutive league defeat and third game in a row in which Sons have failed to score.
This is also not good.
And to make matters worse, Sons travel to the league whipping boys, Elgin City, on Saturday. In our current situation it's probably odds on that Elgin will win. Well at least we won't be bottom......yet.
