This was a terribly disappointing game. Raith Rovers were obviously the better team and in reality they should have scored a lot more and if it hadn't been for the post and Steven Grindlay in goal it would have been.
But Rovers superiority doesn't excuse the fact that the Dumbarton players were absolute pish.
I don't usually get personal in match reports but you have to wonder why Michael Dickie still get a game for us as he seems to have more bad games than good.
John Dillon. He was a distribution dead-end in this game. Whenever he got ball, progress was halted.
Tom Brown. My opinion is that he's past it. The only thing he's good for is late tackles.
The Back four - unless Duffy is playing they look very shaky. Collins had a nightmare.
Stevie Bonar - Will someone teach him about offside, how to recognise it, how to hold up his runs. It was embarrasing to see a professional footballer running about like a headless chicken.
Joe Robertson - what does he have to do to get the ball? Came on as sub was often in acres of space on the left. Yet the team persisted on trying to penetrate down the right with Dickie.
Unless we improve we're heading right back to Division 3.
