The combined ineptitude of Kenny Meechan and John McCormack in the last minute of the first half cost Dumbarton the victory that would put the team back in the promotion places. How on earth McCormack got credited with the own goal I'll never know as I was sure Kenny headered the ball into his own net.

It's an unbelievable story. Meechan calls for a pass back and McCormack obliges with a terrible high one. Kenny comes out to meet the ball, realises the ball is going to bounce over head, starts backpeddaling and in an attempt to divert the ball away from the goal, headers the ball into the net. No, seriously, that's what happened.

Thankfully, Joe Robertson brought the game level one minute after the restart, scoring with a low drive from about 15 yards.
