East Stirlingshire 3 Dumbarton 1

Dumbarton took the lead in the first minute thanks to Colin "Goal Machine" McKinnon who put the ball away nicely after a flowing move. But after that we did nothing. The Shire equalized direct from a corner, which was apparently the third time that the player has done it this season. Their second was a "Newcastle" style goal with the ball rebounding off someone's body into the back of the net following a stramash in the box. Shire's third was a penalty awarded after Kenny Meechan came off his line and clobbered a Shire player without getting anywhere near the ball.

At the end of the game, there were several shouts of "Wallace, chuck it" and "Wallace Must Go". And I can understand the fans frustration as Wallace's record is not inspiring. I'll present the facts on this site soon. Any why was Mooney left on the bench ? He has been one of the best players this season yet Grace, who we thought had a nightmare of a game, was allowed to play for the whole 90 minutes. Shurely shome mishtake.

Or the blame can be laid at the feet of fellow Sons fan, Graeme "Unlucky" MacIver. It just wasn't his day. No taxis available when he was about to go to the station to get to the game. Got on the wrong train on his way to Falkirk. Had to pay to get in to Firs Park because the guy handing out the complimentary tickets only had three left and there were four of us ! He obviously brought the back luck to the ground where it then wreaked havoc on the Sons. Aye, definitely Graeme's fault.
