You know how some nil-nil draws were actually very exciting games with lots of flowing moves and tonnes of chances ? This wasn't one of them. Pretty dire stuff really. Dumbarton had the upper end in the last few minutes and managed to apply some pressure but we couldn't score.
The highlights of the match were that Sandy invented a new word, "Superbity", to be used as in "impressed by the superbity of it all" and that after a gap of many years due to the segragation policy we went into the big end for the second half. Obviously the fact that were in the big end was the reason that Dumbarton managed to break their losing run. So it's now the "lucky" end. And it will remain lucky end until we get beat. Not that we're at all superstitious. Mind you, Jim the Hippy did have his new, lucky tatoo, I had my lucky new haircut and Gary was wearing his lucky Beavis and Butthead tee-shirt.
