Another one of those days. Not even Robert Prytz, who was a trialist for the Sons, could liven up an incredibly dull first half. Very few chances were made by either side.
The second half was better. The visiting Alloa fans "invaded" the home end, making a mockery of Boghead's segregation policy. And they jumped about with delight when their team took the lead with a well taken shot from the edge of the box. Slack defending. As the half wore on, Sons began to dominate, forcing the Alloa keeper into a handful of excellent saves, including a thunderbolt from another Sons trailist which my sources tell me was Mark Falconer. He looked the part which probably means we won't sign him but sign the ageing, and frankly, pish, Prytz instead.
So in the end another defeat. Alloa took their chance and we didn't take ours.
Sound familiar ?
